Through painting, photography, sound art, textiles, and installations, it offers a powerful journey through loss, transformation, and cultural fusion, with proposals ranging from symbolic documentary to visual poetry.

El Callao Carnival in New York

Beyond a one-time celebration, Carnival of El Callao in New York presents itself as a living archive of memory and cultural resistance. The photographs, recordings, and collected materials not only document a festive event, but also reveal how the Venezuelan diaspora turns the act of celebration into a political and emotional gesture. In a migratory context marked by displacement, this exhibition affirms carnival as a space for identity assertion, intergenerational exchange, and community creation—where tradition remains in motion, resonating to the beat of drums that cross borders.

Afro-Diasporic Subjectivities

A celebration of the strength and creativity of the Afro-Venezuelan and Afro-Caribbean diaspora. This exhibition brings together documentaries, photographs, visual art samples, and a podcast that explore identity, resilience, and social justice from both personal and collective perspectives, with works such as Caribeños, Negra como yo, La migrante, and Universo 11 by Wiki Pirela.
