Description: Arturo Gutiérrez Plaza (Caracas, Venezuela, 1962) is an unavoidable voice in Venezuelan poetry. Gutiérrez Plaza is the author of the following poetry titles: Al margen de las hojas (1991), Principios de contabilidad (2000), Pasado en limpio (2006), Cuidados intensivos (2014), and Cartas de renuncia (2020). He also has several essays, anthologies, and literary research books. He holds a PhD in Romance Languages and Literature and is a full professor at Simón Bolívar University (Caracas).
