Description: From the contemporary perspective of theater, a poetics has been developing that transgresses themes and forms of discourse, leading us to a more complex view of art and its meanings. The fundamental objective of this research is to analyze Solitude as a category represented through emptiness, silence, and violence, resulting in isolation, and the outcome is realized in the grotesque and the eschatological. As a methodological reference, psychoanalysis addresses the theme of solitude as an element that influences human social behavior and considers four points of tension: anxiety in the face of death, the scourged and lacerated body, the precariousness of time, and love as a structure of possession, taking into account the need to apply Comparative Theater in a space where boundaries are erased. The theatrical poetics considered are replete with anxiety and absurdity as tools to try to escape a labyrinthine prison, but ultimately arrive at the starting point: the recognition of the solitude of its characters. In this way, the theme of Latin American theatre and, in particular, Venezuelan dramaturgy is enriched, which culminates in the incorporation of a particular way of bringing the work to the stage from the UNET Experimental Theatre Group and its constant gestural experimentation.
