Pedro Emilio Coll (1872-1947), Rufino Blanco Fombona (1874-1944), Rafael Bolívar Coronado (1884-1924), Teresa de la Parra (1889-1936), Rómulo Gallegos (1884-1969), Arturo Uslar Pietri (1906-2001), Adriano González León (1931-2008), Salvador Garmendia (1928-2001), Eugenio Montejo (1938-2008), José Balza (1939) and Juan Carlos Méndez Guédez (1967) are here the protagonists of the different moments of an exchange that, from modernism to the nineties of the last century, It is becoming the historical foundation upon which the massive presence of Venezuelan literature on the Peninsula now stands. The main objective of this publication is precisely to begin creating a memory and archive of the Spanish-Venezuelan connection that highlights the continuity of the ties and gives depth in time to what tends to appear today as a new and isolated event.
