Description: "In 'Migrants... on the Way to El Dorado,' Gustavo Zajac presents a series of works taken from the previous exhibition, as traveling or 'migrant' prints, printed using contemporary media. Half of them are worked with gold leaf and the other half are printed in a mirror image of the referenced works; in silver leaf, as a form of contrast or comparison. Zajac recreates a collection of 41 works, using paper as a medium, in the form of illuminated engravings or pictorial drawings. And through the staging, a large-scale installation, he conveys these visions, these references, these travel notes, like a traveler of yesteryear, or perhaps... as a metaphor for the metaphor of El Dorado.
