The Venezuelan filmmaker Patricia Ortega (Espiga Arcoiris at SEMINCI 2018 for Yo, Imposible) pays tribute to mothers and grandmothers who choose to take control of their lives beyond social norms and religious traditions. It all began five years ago when Ortega stumbled upon a photograph of her mother—nude—tucked away in a drawer. That image confronted her: "She had a past I knew nothing about; I only knew her as a mother, not as a woman."

From that reflection emerged this intimate and joyful comedy, in which Cruz (Kiki Mánver), a devout grandmother, has gone decades without experiencing certain pleasures. One day, by chance, she begins to feel sensations she thought had long vanished—sparking a personal awakening that will turn her life upside down and shatter long-held barriers.
